I started this blog after finding myself with some extra time after a hectic few years focused on other people in my life. A little about me:

Even with 50+ years on this gorgeous earth, I continue to search for my personal truth and voice. After reflecting on the various roles I have held over the years (consultant, wife, mom, volunteer, leader, reader to name a few), learning and sharing have always been important to me. I invite you to join me on this next journey, as we use books to reflect on where we have been, what we can learn and where we can go.

The northwest suburbs of Chicago has been my home for almost 40 years. I work at home and focus my energies on my family, various volunteer commitments and now, this blog! I have two daughters – one in college and one fully launched – with my husband of 28 years.
